 Flew up to my company's Silicon Valley campus for a meeting today. Even after 10 months, I still pop a MAH-JOR boner whenever I head up there.

I mean I WORK FOR THE COMPANY THAT CREATED THESE GUYS. I mean... 

Built the airport-friendly outfit around these boots. One of the best purchases I have ever made. Comfort and style in one.

Dug out the Stella McCartney bag to pair with the boots.

Then chose the color block tank. Closest I'm going to get to Prabal Gurung color blocking anytime soon.

Love how it worked with the nails and the contrasting ring.

Good enough outfit. Especially for the Silicon-nerd world I exist in.

Rain today after summer-like weather. Horror.

I've taken to wearing some kind of boot every time water comes out of the sky. Minimizes the chances that I fall down and break a hip.

Paired them with the striped top and the printed trench and leggings.

A neutral bag with a little flair

And my favorite necklace and lip color.

Summery outfit in the middle of January. Love LA.

Love the pairing of the doily dress with the electric belt. Great contast of white and orange---two of the hottest colors this spring.

The shock of color inspired a long overdue mani pedi today.

Pretty kitty with the gold accessories.

The Scene
Best way to start the day: eating your weight in fruit with the sound of the ocean in the distance while wearing big bathrobes.

After that hit the gym (YES AGAIN!)











































































Then the spa

Then braved the cloudy skies at the pool and beach























































Then wouldn't you know it was time to eat again



































































Waited out some afternoon showers and then hopped on a bus to do some shopping in the touristy section of Cancun

In every store we entered, my mom fed her sweet tooth while I fed my inner Blair.

Got caught in heavy rain while we were out and ducked into a Starbucks to wait things out. While I was horrified by the turn in the weather, my mom could have cared less. Give her something to read and a cup of tea and she is all good. Phew.

This little Forever 21 dress is about 3 years old but my love affair with it continues. Especially after Jason Wu showed a similar look for Spring 2010.

Love that the print looks like a subtle animal print

And that the sexy neckline is balanced by the demure bubble skirt - a trend that is picking up steam again after a two year absence.

Think the chunky necklace pulled together the look beautifully

But my favorite accessory of the day: an adorable mommy that matched me in her tangerine JCrew top
