The Scene
Mr. Diabolina and I have been driving past Pinches Tacos for what seems like two pinche years. Thought the name was genius but figured the tacos couldn't be any pinche good.

But on a whim we decided to try them this weekend. And they were good. Pinche good. So today we went back. And they were even better. I am in pinche love. Especially with the salsa verde on the carne asada tacos.

Here's Mr. D making fun of me and my pinche salsa addiction. He's so pinche annoying now that he's 32.

The Scene
Still a total pinche mess today when it came time to get dressed. Ugh. Have zero desire to look cute for work. That's definitely what's wrong.

After trying on and discarding several looks, the flash of purple in the closet caught my eye. Pinche cuckoo for purple at the moment.

Trying to figure out how to wear my new purple bubble skirt. It's a whole lotta of Barney.

It's much easier to integrate purple accessories and not look like a large dinosaur.

Currently mooning over this pinche Chloe bag. So beautifully impractical.

Tried to convince myself today that my dress was a cross between last season Marc

And Rodarte. Instead of a pinche three year old Forever 21 ;)

The deep V reminded me of the Old Navy dress I should have bought a few weeks ago. What a pinche cheapskate. Must stop by and pick it up soon.

Not quite sure why I added the little retro green jacket. Probably just trying to create some color contrast. And cover up the deep V for The pinche Office.

Maybe I was inspired by the First Lady and all her lady like European looks.

Soooooo proud to have these two representing us abroad. Fan-pinche-tastic.

Spring Trend: Stripes and Strappy Sandals

The Scene
Monday. Back in The Office.

Thank da baby Jesus I had a new Gossip Girl to look forward to all day.

Can you beeeeelieve Leigh Lezark made a cameo tonight???

And Little J was - surprise, surprise - a total ingrate about it. F.

Confession: I am totally over the GG story lines. Only watch it for the clothes. And the glimpses of New York. Gawd I miss me some Sex and the City.

The Commentary

This outfit is what you get when I am totally horribly completely utterly hopelessly discombobulated. New York really did a number on me. Or maybe Peaches and Jean Bean stole my fashion mojo. Like that cat steals your breath in the movie Cat's Eye. F.

Used this easy breezy look as my inspiration.

Not sure why I thought stripes would be a good idea when I feel big as a house.

Think it was my attempt at fashion with a capital F.

Couldn't believe the 7o degree weather all weekend. Must be why I added the trench coat. What. a. weather. weirdo.

Again, not quite sure why I rolled up my jeans, but I did.

Maybe it was to show off the shoes. They really are the gladiators that keep on ticking. Remember my big internal debate about getting them last year?

Glad I did. Seeing sooooo many look alikes. EXPENSIVE ones.

Guiseppe Zanotti - $895

Loeffler Randall $695

Balmain $795

Meet my latest peep toe obsession on Shopbop: Omelle. O MY.

Found this great interview with the creative director on a new blog I am devouring called Breakfast at Saks.

Gotta love a girl with a business plan and hot shoes.

The Scene
Mr. Diabolina's birthday!!!! Can't believe it's been a year since last year's Donkey Kong/90210/Shakey's rager. How time flies when you are in love. And old ;(

Last night's silent auction brought Mr. D some early presents. Ripped into them this morning.

My favorite part: the matching SC toothbrushes. Life is now complete.

Mr. D's favorite? USC Crocs.

He loved them so much that he wore them WITH his matching yellow polo OUT of the house WITHOUT irony. It was, um, a whole lotta look. I didn't say a word though. As he reminded me several times today, I have to be nice to him on his birthday.

So we all turned a blind eye: my mom

And Sable Crow

His oldest sister

His younger siblings

And his adorable parents.

We let him grill up DELICIOUS burgers for us

Blow out his candles

And open his presents

(Including a snuggie to match mine)

All while wearing the most REDUNCULOUS footwear known to man. We love him THAT much.

The Commentary
Was feeling completely exhausted today after NYC and yesterday's trip down to The OC. Couldn't get my fashion mojo together AT ALL. Must have changed five times in the half hour before everyone showed up for dinner. Ugh.

Finally decided to just build the outfit around the necklace. Just saw it in the latest issue of O. Third time I've seen it featured in editorials. First time was in Marie Claire and then Vogue. And yet no one other than me seems to have seen it in the store. Everyone acts shocked when I tell them it's Banana.

Thought the strapless dress would show off the Marni like bauble nicely

Loving strapless dresses lately

Especially ones in colors that pop

Or yummers prints

And dramatic hemlines

Think too many women shy away from strapless

I say give this neckline a try - just start with a little coverage

Surprising how a sweater or jacket can change the whole look, no?

The hemline can also make a big difference. It's all about proportions remember? I tend to favor a longer, mid-calf hemline when I go strapless. But that's just me. And, maybe J Lo :)

Currently fiending for just the right strapless bustier.

Think it could be soooo fierce for sultry summer nights.

Especially with a DELISH strappy wedge

Alas, for now, I'll have to settle for a croc. What a crock.
