The Scene

Mr. Architect invited me to grab a petit lunch today. Don't know how he does it but he always knows when I'm dying for a friendly face in the middle of the day.

God, I heart him. ESPECIALLY now that he's on Twitter. We plan to guerrilla market each other. Like nerdz.

After a long afternoon at work, I went fashion spulunking. Headed to Jenn Ripley's Archive Agency in an unmarked loft in the heart of Larchmont.

After reading this Fashionista post about her stock of vintage Chanel and Hermes I knew I had to check it out. Purely for blog research. Or so I told Mr. D :)

As promised the Chanel spread was TDF. All authenticated and priced well below retail.

This little Hermes cutie practically begged to come home with me.

The clothing options were solid too.

Ranging from $50 - $300 for local and name brand designers.

Lots of Marni and Chanel for $300 which is - duh - outstanding
But the shoes - the glorious shoes - were probably the best deal.

All pairs just $200. Most retail for over $800. Alas none of the ones I was dying for came in my size. I will most definitely be back for her upcoming sale featuring hundreds of designer bags.

After feasting on fashion, I met Mr. D for a big fat Greek dinner in Larchmont.

Guess who was defeated by his dinner?

And who emerged triumphant over hers?

The Commentary

New Forever 21 top. Under $20.

So very Phillip Lim Resort 2010.

Also reminded me of some Phillip fall prints.

And my favorite trend for fall: pattern tights. I crave, I neeeeeed polka dot tights.

Plan to keep my eyes peeled for a Wolford alternative. $55 is too much.

Plucked out the YSL for some office appropriate coverage. And because boleros are a bonafide Fall trend.

May have also unconsciously remembered gorgeous lace was also a major part of Phillip's resort collection.

My cropped RR pants are one of the best purchases I've made in a long time. Love how they show off hot shoes.

Tres importante when you are lunching with boys who notice these things.

But Mr. Architect's favorite part of the outfit? This redic bling I got downtown last weekend. ADORE.

Mr. Architect clearly has good taste: today he revealed the fabulously creepy bracelet I was given on my birthday was a present from him and his Silvered Haired Fox. MYSTERY SOLVED!!

What a great investigative post. So cute, Mr. D!

I LOVE THOSE SHOES. Be careful: I'm inclined to lick them if you ever wear them around me.

Contemplating buying a ticket to LA just to go to that store. I'm dying here in Philadelphia.

LOVE love love polka dot tights. Tiny hearts would be even better circa 1982.

Speaking of beautiful things. I have a poop story going on in my parts. Stop by!
