New Label Crush: Isabel Marant

I'm not a afraid of a little girl on girl action either. 

Been loving me some Gaby Besora lately

And DVF is one of my oldest lovahs.

But Isabel Marant is the latest designer that's caught my little whorish eye.

The go-to label for Parisian cool girls first turned my head this spring. I'm typically not much for boho but the collection just felt like this perfect combination of Parisian chic and California casual. It reminded me of what the cool girls wore in LA when I was a teenager.

And don't even get me started on this graffiti luxury

But one thing sealed the deal - her perfect slouchy, comfy looking, launguidly luxe boots. 

Realized they looked strikingly similar to a pair of Karen Millen
boots I was given as a hand me down a few years ago.
A pair of boots I love but could never style quite right. 

Until now. Now I realize they go with everything. Flirty dresses in spring, simple seperates in the fall. Isabel has opened up a whole new world for these babies.

Finding endless inspiration in the Fall 2010 collection: the mixture of textures, the leather obis, the metallics. I want to LIVE in sequin pants and drapey minis. Like the wanton harlot I am.  

And what about Spring 2011? I'll dust off my green boots and pair them with belted dresses, all white and flirty tunic tops over shorts. 

Better start working on the mile long legs and tan part now.
