It took us 33 long, hard years but Mr. Diabolina and I finally made it. We've seemingly arrived. We've clearly done something right with our lives. This summer we snagged an invite to the Dodger Stadium Club.
We've had a glorious Willy Wonka-worthy dessert cart wheeled in FOR US to feast upon.
P-I-G-H-E-A-V-E-N!
We've sat in Aaron chairs. At a baseball game. For pete's sake.
Pretty much life will never be the same again and it's probably not a good thing.
The Outfit
Growing up, I went to at least half a dozen Dodger games a season. My grandmother and her boyfriend (my grandmother is a TRIP!) used to take me.
And still now, every year, despite my aversion to most non-USC sporting events, I'll go to at least one Dodger game (previous posts here and here). Like any good Angeleno, I always "think blue" when dressing for Dodger Stadium.
For this particularly fabulous occasion this meant blue meow meow
I spotted this adorable facsimile of the Miu Miu Spring kitty print in a window of a little store on Melrose. Loved the precious neckline and the sheerness of the material and the nipped in waist. When I realized it was under $30, I was sold. .
Like every other blogger that snatched up the Zara "Miao Miao" dress. How Zara escapes the lawsuits that plague Forever 21 I will never understand.
And why I refuse to tire of the whimsy of the Miu Miu Spring Collection, I will never understand either.
What I do know is that only in LA will bougie piglets wear Gucci and Marc Jacobs shoes to a baseball game and not give it a second thought.
And only in LA would no one bat an eye if Elton wore a sequinned Dodger uniform. Over the top fey style. No wonder I love LA.
