The Scene

My mami made me breakfast this morning.

Gawd, I love being brown.

Visited Americana at Brand.

Best. Forever 21. EVER.

Fell in LOVE with the entire store.

Might have bought a skirt and a dress and a top and some headbands and necklaces - all for under $100 ;)

Ended the day with some Funny People. Sigh. I harbor delusions that if Judd Apatow just met me he would find me hilarious and ask - nay, DEMAND - that I join his inner circle. I mean I can tell dick, fart and nerd jokes with the best of em.

The Outfit

Forever 21 tank
Ann Taylor shorts

The Accessories
Forever 21 headband and bracelet
Marc Jacobs bag
Tory Burch Reva flats

The Grade
Pass

The Commentary

With the summer winding down, I'm trying to wear as many of my shorts, as often as possible.

So is Chloe Sevigny. She will not stop with the Chloe shorts this summer. A bit narcissistic if you ask me ;)

Thought about heels to dress up the look today.

But in the end I opted for comfort.

Could have done an edgier flat.

But decided to keep things Gossip Girl classic with Tory.

And my new Forever 21 headband. Just $6. So I got both colors. Ugh. I have a headband PROBLEM.

So much so that I am counting down the minutes til the premiere of Gossip Girl: The College Years!!!

Can't wait for Gossip Girl.

You should befriend BroMo to get closer to Aziz to get closer to Judd.

Hmm. Still too many degrees of separation.

The Americana Forever 21 is the greatest! When I tell people it's in Glendale, they sorta scoff but they know not what they're missing. There's also one in the Galleria across the street as well as a For Love 21.

Shorts + headband + flats = adorable

Very excited for GG! Not sure if you have time for books these days, but The Luxe series (YA books) is GG set in late 1800s NY. All the backstabbing and drama of the show done in killer silk dresses. :) I think you'd love it.
