The Scene
Um, I booked 2 more styling clients today. That's a total of 5 this week. So. Freaking. Excited!!!

Celebrated with trash TV tonight while Mr. D watched the Lakers. DYING for two things next week. That NBA championship for Mr. D and the BANANAS finale of Housewives of New Jersey for me.

The Outfit
Robert Rodriguez skirt
Banana Republic top
Fashion District sweater

The Accessories
Urban Outfitters headband
Chanel bag
Tarina Tarantino bracelet
Marc Jacobs heels

The Grade
A

The Commentary

Built the outfit around the resale Marc shoes. They are just the right side of sexy sweet. Sexy thanks to the arch and the crisscross straps. Sweet courtesy of the pale pink color and the rounded toes. I was shocked at the visceral reaction they triggered in men today. A few even SAID something about them. Including one of our VPs in the elevator. Oy.

Couldn't get Paola's FABULOUS transformation out of my head today.

So decided to rock my own high waisted fierceness.

Lots of high waists at Narcisco Rodriguez for Resort 2010

And at Stella McCartney

NEED these stripped and bowed little confections.

Rocked the black and white today.

My signature colors.

Always a chic look.

But especially so when you're talking black and white STRIPES.

They can go classic

Or edgy

And in the summer they just read effortless

And cool

Integrating the yellow into the look kicked things up a notch.

Always worry about these three colors reading bumblebee but trying to get over that nonsense.

Witness DVF Resort 2009

And DVF Resort 2010

For 2010, DVF showed a short sleeved wrap sweater. They seriously aren't going anywhere and they go with everything so keep stocking up, fellow wrap sweater lovers.

You may also want to score a yellow belt

And a yellow belted dress

Me, I'm on the lookout for a yellow evening gown. Not sure when I'll wear it but I firmly believe that if you have the right fabulous dress, the right fabulous event to wear it to will materialize ;)

Congrats on booking 2 more clients! That is awesome news! By the way, I can't wait either for the finale of the New Jersey Housewives. They are so trashy, yet highly addictive. I can't help myself!!!!

Oddly, a pair of beige, patent, peep-toe, lace-up booties that I have get a lot of male admiration. Never understood why!

As per your question:
The sizing is generally true to size, so don't go below your normal size (Gap, Banana, etc. generally run large, but I needed my actual size for these goodies).

Not sure if Gap will have these goodies today (it may be just the NYC promo thing), so double check before you head over there. XOXO
