The Commentary
Relaxing day soaking up Mr. Diabolina. Did some flower mart-ing, hogging, spa-ing, shopping, drinking, laughing, tanning and a few more -ings.
Threw this truck driver meets cowboy with a dash of Alexa Chung look together. Finally sacked up and tried my hand at denim on denim.
Ashley Greene's to blame. Was inspired by her simple, casual look. Realized mixing denims can look chic and pulled together. It's really about the shapes and pairing the head to toe denim with luxe accessories.
Now if only I could get my hair as sleek as hers, I'd be twilight-rrific.

This is awesome. I told Robin a few weeks ago that my new look was a take on the Canadian Tuxedo, and promptly snapped up my third denim shirt. He was scared at first, but is now fired up about denim-on-denim!
Lol, I love how you threw in pics of cowboys and truckers.
I've tried denim on denim once before and I thought it looked pretty good. Of course, I don't think I would stray too far from a lighter denim paired with a dark wash denim. Anything else is scary territory for me. :)
LOVE! And Ashely Greene's got nuthin' on you. Or the Marlboro man for that matter. Denim on denim has always sort of intimated me. I suppose most of my denims are the same color?
I looooove the look of denim on denim, but whenever I try to make it work on myself it's just ... blah. Farmer girl or something. Maybe it's just in my head? I do know one thing though, you pull the look off quite well! I'm thinking it's the feminine, luxe accessories.
