The Scene
I worship Jane Lynch aka Sue Sylvester on Glee. She is PURE genius as a diabolical ball buster that doesn't suffer losers and spews comedic gold with a rhythm rivaling the show's best musical numbers. When she revealed tonight that she doesn't trust a man with curly hair because she can't help but imagine birds laying sulphurous eggs on his head, I thought I might never stop laughing.

Mostly because I too have had a life long phobia of curly boys. Started in the 3rd grade with a boy named Ko who never spoke AND ironically looked like Harpo Marx. {Shudder}

To this day even Justin Timberlake gives me the willies. Guess it's just how Sue and Diabolina CCCCee it.

The Commentary
Today I challenged myself to create an ensemble of corporate casual separates that still read cool, on trend and individualistic. Tall order trying to look like yourself in a ho hum coporate environment.

























































































Ultimately asked myself WWTTD (What Would Taylor Tomasi Do). She's my latest, greatest style crush. Her outfits always look so polished yet full of personality. She mixes textures and prints, casual with elegant. And her looks always manage to have this delicious element of quirky sexiness. Adore.






























































































































































Built the outfit around this gorgeous top. Cannot get enough of it. One of those Forever 21 purchases that will work...forever. Especially since ruffles are always in vogue.















































































































The nubby jacket and flowy trousers downplayed the sexiness of the top. But the shoes...well, the shoes added just the right amount of personal flair.
