The Scene
The thing about having your actual birthday land on a Tuesday and going into The Office is that, well, it kinda can't help but sucking.

Sure you get through the day with funny cards from Beans and Peaches.

But at the end of the day you don't have dinner at Bazaar how your pig ass would've liked. Everyone's like: Um, we already celebrated your birthday on Saturday, bitch. So you end up having dinner at the re-opened Pavillions in WeHo. It's now my mom's favorite place on earth. And sure, it's gorgeous in there but REALLY? A market? For my birthday? Le sigh.

The Commentary

An old pair of slacks today

Reinvented by a new top - the top of all tops. THE exquisite top I should have worn to meet the Limster himself.

Phillip Lim pieces are so stunning that they can transform a basic like a simple tank top or even khakis.

Love how easily his pieces can be dressed up or dressed down. It's the languid shapes paired with intricate detailing. And maybe the Cali sensibility that's baked in.

Need to get my 3.2 paws on some of his sequins from Spring or Fall.

One of his ruffled top is also a must have.

Intended on wearing the tank with neutrals today but didn't feel like changing purses.

Plus Chanel was made for birthday princesses.
