The Scene
Spent all day sending Jean Bean good vibes. Big life changes afoot for so many of my nearest and dearest. Ugh. 32 better bring it. I'm tired of all this waiting around. Wanna get on with the fulfilling our destinies and living happily every after part already.

The Commentary
Got dressed today with thoughts of Gwen fabulousity
And Phillip Lim dancing in my head. Dancing a polka to be exact :)
Polka dots are one of my favorite prints because they are such a simple way to look fashionable and put together - zero effort required.
They will be hot this Fall
And stay hot well into next Spring
But lucky me they never really go out of style.
Plus they are incredibly easy to reinvent with accessories like today's belt.
Like any classic, polka dots are worth the investment. But if DVF and Phillip Lim prices aren't in the cards for you, here are some options from Forever 21.
Flattering. Simple. Chic. Plus both are under $30. That won't buy you even ONE of Phillip's polka dots ;)
The only problem with today's outfit: short chiffon is not your friend when you've put on a few extra pounds. Wah.
A boyfriend blazer would have been the perfect solution. Also a boyfriend who doesn't sabotage my dieting would be nice too. Thank you in advance, baby Jesus.

polka dots are always so pretty and feminine.
Thanks D-Bomb! Keep up the magic powers, please. I think they's working. Kisses.
I'm hoping 42 will bring it.
Love the neutral accessories with the LB-polka dot-D. :)
