The Scene
For Valentine's Day, I got Mr. Diabolina meat. An assortment of about a dozen Omaha steaks. A friend once told me that his grandfather loved that present. Figured my notoriously-difficult-to-shop-for grandpa would too ;)

And he did. Today he was excited to cook some of them up for the first time.

Took just a few minutues to make Steak Diane. Followed by Guatemalan coffee. He knows exactly how to woo me.

The Commentary

We had a bowling excursion today at work. I don't want to talk about it. Did my best to dress comfortably. Snooze

But I couldn't shake visions of the front row at the Louis Vuitton show yesterday.

Specifically this head to toe blue. Adore. A double breasted cardigan as a dress??? Bananas chic.

Posh stepped out recently in a similarly monochromatic look.

These dreamy Louis Vuitton shoes are everywhere right now.

They don't so much work for bowling so I had to do my sensible Marcs. Wah.

But, in my head, I looked like these glamazons.

Impeccable in navy seperates.

Love how navy works with practically any color.

Whether it's hints of it in a jacket or as the prominent color in a print, navy invariably flatters.

Especially loving the shock of Smurfette legs ala M by MJ Fall 2009.

Today I kept my accessories minimal. Bowl-proof.

Decided on the denim Marc bag. Sigh.

Would have loved to pick up the dusty pink in the top with this little Chanel number. My coworkers would have died.

On my navy wishlist at the moment: Two Phillip Lim dresses.

TDF.

Both currently on sale at Net-a-Porter.

Both still over $400. F
