Nothing like an Armani jacket. The impeccable tailoring, the delicious detailing, the supple fabrics. So classic, so elegant.
Scored this exquisite jacket as part of my BANANAS resale shopping spree on Christmas eve. It was so Roberta I had to have it. It's my second Armani jacket.
The subdued color pallette, the stripes and the asymmetry - all signature Armani. I'll have this piece forever.
It garnered a few compliments at work from people who bug. I almost sniffed, "Armani" as if to say, "Duh, of course you like it, peasant." But I didn't ;)
Peaches gave me an excellent book called Deluxe: How Luxury Lost Its Luster. Highly recommend it. The book details the rise of the Armani brand through strategic alliances with Hollywood over the past four decades.
He designed her wedding dress.
And virtually every red carpet dress for about a year afterward. Knowing Armani, there was likely a contract involved.
Ugh, those actresses. Imagine getting paid to wear stunning clothes. That's the life.
Though mine isn't too bad.
In my $100 Armani paired with Forever 21 bling.

I own nothing Armani. Well, that's not exactly true. I have a pair of old Giorgio Armani catseye glasses frames.
But then I got Lasik.
No Armani. :(
