Built the outfit around this adorable tank. Just $12 on sale at Madewell. Love the flattering/forgiving cut. And the fun print.
It's so very Marc Jacobs, no? Feels like wearing a rainbow. Played into the fanciful feel with the flowy short-sleeved wrap sweater. I really need to wear this sweater more. Looks luxe.
Opted for a wide leg jean to keep everything super comfortable today. Digging all the dark hued wide legged pants on Shopbop lately. May need a pair in khaki for pre-fall too.
I want to get back into pants. For example, love the flowy chic of this Kate Cruise outfit. Simple elegance. Grown up but still youthful. After years of just throwing on dresses and calling it a day, I am finding it hard to put together pant ensembles that look easy. Working on it though - today was a good start...
Paired my trusty cheapy jeans with the dusty rose fringe sandals to pick up the pink in the tank top.
Realized as I was putting on my sandals that my nails are a perfect match. Yummy detail.
Added this Blair Waldorf heandband at the last minute. Why not? You're only young and adorable once, you might as well wear bows and polka dots :)p.s. The necklace was a gift from Jean Bean. She got it at one of her ab fab fashion events. It got lots of sideway glances today. If you know why, you are a naughty kitten ;)

Ugh. I'm the worst when it comes to pants - jeans are what I live in! And dresses are the easiest way for me to feel fashionable without the fuss. Oh teach me the ways of pants. Or just send me a shopping list.
