The Scene
Today Sablecrow wanted to hit Barney's together. Maybe pet some pretty things, perhaps do some damage. But alas we work for a living and Barney's caters to people who shop for a living so we couldn't get down there before closing. Boo. Hiss. F.

So instead we order Chinese in and discuss the vagaries of life. His search for romantic fulfillment, my search for professional fulfillment. Same ole, same ole.

Then when things got deep enough we decide to look at home decor Web sites. And we lust over this Armani table set. What label whores, right????

Whatevs. I loves people who can dive deep and then come back to the surface. High and low - it's important in conversation not only fashion!

The Commentary
Do you ever wake up and your face looks like butt? Not just kinda or vaguely but alot? Well that happens to me and it happened today. Blech. Monday.

Plus I didn't have time to do my hair so had to go curly sue. Double butt. F.

This outfit was my attempt to be cheery. But it was really all an afterthought. Think I rocked it much better earlier this year. Today I tried to play off the orange in the top with the bangle and the clay colored bag and shoes. All fine and dandy and ho hum.

The print is still very Marc Jacobs 2008. Very similar to this TDF peony print hoodie I am fiending for lately. LOOK AT THE HOT PINK LINING.

But $198. OY. Will wait until it drops down to at least $80. Ugh. But even that's a lot of cheddar for a hoodie.

For now I will just crave it. Like Mr. Diaoblina craves Pinkberry.

p.s. While looking for my little hoodie, I stumbled upon these Marc Jacobs shoes. Peep toe, sling back, colored heel.

Hmmmm. Don't they look familiar? Quite similar to the Chloe shoes I've been stalking for ages!

So is it copyright infringement when a high end designer borrows from another high end designer? Or is it only Forever 21 that should be burned at the stake for creating derivative looks? Food for fashion thought, my pretties!

I love that table set. And we all have butt face days. I'm going through one today, myself.

Armani Decor IS fantastic! And I love your eye for design with those neon-heel MJs - so hot! Check out Tom Binns' new stuff on net-a-porter; I think you'll love it, Diabolina!

Infringement is infringement, no matter who does it.

Love the Armani table - label whorish, but I still love it.
Very cute top - it does look very Marc. I like the hot pink lining on the jacket - it's a nice spalsh of color!
The shoes = yum. Love the yellow heel. :)
