Today my life changed.And there were drinks to celebrate.
Lots and lots and lots of drinks.
And silliness.
Today there was friendship.
Complicated and beautiful and real friendship.
In emails and glances and words and deeds, I felt loved, supported, appreciated.
Doesn't get better than that.
And yet today I felt sad.
Today I cried.
I cried for the times that were.
And for the times that will never be.
But, today I felt ready.
Ready to close one chapter and begin another.
OH and today I enforced a Marimekko-black-and-white-Panda-Chanel dress code.
And the people that loved me dressed the part.
We are off to Mexico in the wee hours.
I will kiss you and catch up when I return.
