The Scene
Stayed out waaaaaaaaaay past my bedtime last night. Feel it all day long. Ugh to getting old.

The only thing that keeps me going at work is the prospect of watching Wicked at The Pantages

After 6 months of trying to coordinate, Sable Crow and I finally nailed down tickets for a night that worked for both of us. Invited my mom along too.

We used to go to shows all the time at the Pantages when I was growing up. As the show was starting tonight, she whispered to me that she never dreamed her little girl would return the favor some day.

Such an adorable trio. Such a fantastic show.

I think Sable Crow has officially become my theater buddy. I saw my last show with him last October in New York. Avenue Q. Appropos for two english majors :)

His retro cardigan was from a vintage store that I recommended. YAY! Look at the horn buttons paired with the Gucci belt. Adore!

(BTW, he broke his finger last week. He went skiing with Dr. McDreamiest. After two days of death defying acts on the slopes without suffering a scratch, he managed to break his finger getting into the hot tub. HA! Total me move.)

The Outfit
Diane Von Furstenberg snake dress

The Accessories
Marc Jacobs round toe rafia pumps
Chanel black tote
Louis Vuitton earrings

The Grade
B+

The Commentary
I wore my three favorite things Mr. Diabolina has ever bought me: my DVF, my Chanel, and my MJs on my feet. So he was there in spirit too.

So was Jean Bean because she adores all things DVF.

And Peaches because he is my favorite musical theater actor.

Yay to outfits and nights that stir up so much!

Felt large and in charge tho. Ugh. Just a few days of not working out makes such a difference when you wear a wrap dress that accentuates every curve. Every time I feel I am making progress, I get slapped down by the gods of chub.

Was a bit too tired this am to do anything extra sassy with the accessories so the look was very simple today. I wore four very high end pieces but they weren't overwhelmingly richie rich looking. The whole ensemb would have looked better with my hair down and a bit more makeup. Oh and a tan. Ugh to whiteness :)

Tomorrow the mister and I make for the airport before 6 a.m. We are spending the weekend with Jean Bean and her Texas Cowboy in Austin. Eeeeeek!

It's going to be Halloween all over again.
We're double trouble!

Not sure I packed right. She kept saying to keep it casual today and you know I don't do well with that word. Much better with Maire Antoinette decadence. Fretting.

Will catch up when I return. Kisses for a happy bunny weekend. Hope it's hoppin' (GROAN!)
