The Scene
My momma is the cutest person on my planet.

Given.

But today when she walks through my door I almost drop dead. Nearly OD on cuteness.

She is rocking pearls with a ponytail and purple ensemb. P is for perfection. P is for Patti.

The top is H&M. The pants Theory. Her little Escada shoes are very similar to my little Giorgio bear paws. CUTE! The tote is duh Vuitton.

She catches up on my blog while I decide what to wear. Opt to be a dork and match her. YAY to daughters who actually want to look like their moms :)

We lunch and shop and chat the afternoon away.

Come home, pay bills, return emails. Catch up on ANTM. Try to relax and enjoy Mr. Diabolina who has been working like a dog the past few weeks.

The Outfit
H&M dress

The Accessories
Forever 21 feather headband
Marc Jacobs Irina tote
DKNY sandals
Wooden bangle
Chanel sunglasses
Faux Chanel studs

The Grade
B+

The Commentary
Now this is a floral I heart. Such sweet details on this dress from the buttons to the pocket flaps to the trim.

Yet the sheerness on top keeps it a bit naughty. Um, clearly should have worn it with a darker bra. I'm not so good with deciphering how to choose
undergarments for sheer dressing...

There is a cut issue with this dress and my body. The pleating that begins at the hips isn't ideal for me. But it does make me feel like a prima ballerina so there's that...

Love the mix of purple with the rich brown. My mom did a different brown purple mix that works well too.

The accessories are all pitch perfect. The shoes and bag match the trim of the dress perfectly. The headband picks up the brown and the purple. The wooden bangle makes the whole thing a little less precious.

Got lots of compliments today on the dress but wasn't feeling super confident. Think a tan might help. A tan always seems to help...

p.s. Saw two Stella bags that caught my eye today. One evening clutch. One daytime business-y.

MUST USE MY CREDIT ALREADY. It's been 8 months of me second guessing myself. Enough already! Next Saturday is the day...

I love this dress! And, btw, the effects of bootcamp cardio are quite obvious. I'm sorry if that sounds weird, you know, considering that we don't know each other, but I have been following your blog for a while, and I have to say, maybe I should give my gym's bootcamp class another try. You look amazing!
