After Phillip Lim-ing it up, Mr. Diabolina and I grabbed Fat Fish sustenance in the form of sushi followed by FAT marshmellows.
Then we hit Rodeo Drive for part two of Fashion Night Out LA. The world's most famous stretch of designer stores was still crawling with people well past the typical shopping hours. And a huge surprise: the city's best food trucks as far as the eye could see. Food+fashion=fabulous!
While Mr. Diabolina strutted down the middle of the street, people watching, I peeped in all the windows and grabbed beverages wherever they were being served. We were both appalled to note that some 90210-ers have no respect for high end retail and left their FNO trash everywhere. Animals.
Sadly, I peeped in the Chanel window just as they were closing shop. Missed getting my free Chanel mani with the special edition FNO khaki colors. Wah!
Also disappointing the rinky dink ferris wheel. I've seen bigger ones at grammar school fairs. The only thing that saved it was its proximity to Jimmy Choo :)
Best moment of the whole night: finally making friends with the WeHo Jesus.
He was definitely the most popular fashion icon on Rodeo.
LA's answer to Anna Wintour ;)
Here's a look at all the FNO festivities in NYC. Loads of real fashion celebrites, head-to-toe black, pops of red, some neutrals, yummers prints and general FABULOSITY. LA didn't remotely compare.
ps. This is the one and only time I'll ever admit NYC has got anything on LA.

Not Jesus again!!!!!!
A grilled cheese truck!!!! You guys get some of the best stuff, lol.
Thanks for all of the pics, I missed my cities FNO because I'm such a dork. Did you score any goodies while you were out?
I thought the ferris wheel was LAME-O too. And I thought the food trucks should have been free! But the free champagne and hilarious gyrating promotional models forced to stand in front of the stores provided for a good time.
Love that ostrich!
