I've been searching for a pleated faux leather skirt for months. (Do I always say that? I feel like I do. What a searching bitch I am.) Started when I saw a picture on Elle's Street Chic blog of a girl with THE perfect skirt. Which unbelieveably was from Forever 21.
Sadly I couldn't find the skirt at any F21 in California. Did find one at Zara but it was SHORT and I am OLD so that wouldn't work. Settled for this longer one. Made it work appropriate with the little sensible flats that I don't wear nearly enough.
Loved it with the blousy polka dots. Very Alexa Chung. If she were brown ;)
\My favorite part of the outfit: the necklace I snatched up on Sunday at Charlotte Russe of all freaking places. It instantly reminded me of the Phillip Lim beauty I've been eyeing. But it wasn't until I got home that I realized it also looked like Tiffany diamonds. Except rope and $8 ;)
