Fantabulous day off. Spent most of the morning in pjs cleaning my house and then in work out clothes hiking up Runyon then a swimsuit laying out. Once again it was 80 today. In January. Don't hate.
Decided to treat myself to dinner and a movie and threw together this outfit for a solo date. The result? I fucking loooooove. Comfortable and easy with a touch of sass and edge. Love the contrast of the glam with casual. All about contrast lately.
Was inspired by all the glitz of the Golden Globes the night before. And the sequins-by-day stylings of J Crew Creative Director Jenna Lynons. And the ultimate queen of day into night into day again, Serena Van Der Woodsen.
Perfect post Golden Globes, 80 degree day off in Lalaland outfit.

But as I look at the 12 inches of snow we have on the ground and a forecast that includes a balmy high of 10 degrees and a low of -11...well, a girls kinda got to hate you. Just a smidge. BUT. BUT. I'm coming to the vast LA area next week for work so please hold onto that sunshine for me!
I'm seriously in the market for sequins. I have the perfect top in mind. Picturing a silver (and maybe some gold in there too...or champagne!) tunic that would look great with jeans. Now I just need to find it.
