The Scene
Got through the work day with glimpses of the new Sex and the City movie.
These gilded Louboutins made me want to weep with joy at my desk.
Don't have particularly high hopes for the plotline.
Carrie as a smug married? Blechy.
I'm in it for the girls.
And - DUH - the fashion. Looks like Pat Field is bringing back the Dior newsprint dress.
But before you think Mrs. Big has turned into a recycling recessionista - check out her
TDF Louboutin lace and sequin booties. Custom made. And easily over a $1000.
In the evening I drooled over Rachel Zoe's fabulous Fashion Week adventures. Most notably, a DVF preview of delish pom pom hats and the faux fur vests Rachel will start hawking on QVC September 12.
But the real star of RZP tonight was Taylor.
And her Rolex
Chanel bag
Louboutin over the knee boots
Fendi stripes
Dolce and Gabanna spots
Raybans
And plaid.
Looks like Rachel and SJP better watch out, there's a new TV fashionista in town.
The Outfit
Fashion District dress
The Accessories
Me&Ro necklace and earrings
Banks & Biddle bangle
Forever 21 belt
Marc Jacobs purse
Manolo Blahnik heels

The Commentary
Love this blank canvas of a dress.
Especially with touches of turquoise.
Heart me a blue dress
Glamorous for evening
And sophisticated for day
Added the belt today to minimize the volume.
Simple, low cost way to reinvent a dress.
A contrasting belt reads particularly fierce and fashionable.
Love how the browns work with today's look.
And do you still looooove the turquoise Manolos?
So very Dries Von Noten.
Think Rachel and SJP would die.

The Scene
Mommy Sunday starts off with delish pancakes at her house.
Devour them like a Kodiak bear.
Almost devour her adorable when she decides to match me today.
Right down to our blingy tootsies.
My mom wanted to see the new Renee Zellwegger movie. Interesting to think of George Hamilton as a real person not just real tan. Otherwise the acting and story line were just meh.
But it was good enough for my one and only to not fall asleep. Quite a feat.
The Outfit
Forever 21 dress
The Accessories
Forever 21 headband
Chanel bag
Stuart Weitzman sandals

A
The Scene
Nothing like a purple urple dress to stand out from the crowd.
Can't get enough of this beautiful bold color
Perfect complement to golden summer skin
Love the neckline.
And flattering nipped waist of this dress.
My only problem with this dress: it is a bit short.
Hence the flats.
And frankly, the headband.
Draws the eye up while conjuring my favorite TV fashionista.
Or should I say my favorite teenage TV fashionista!
T minus 9 months til Carrie is back on the big screen!
