The Scene
Dinner and drinks with former co-workers tonight. Thank god for The Biscuit and KFR. Over the past 5 years, their support has been one of the greatest gifts in my life. Nights with them - talking about our lives and careers and gleaning meaning from both - always feel like a life raft when I'm struggling.





Sadly what is good for the soul is not always good for the hips. Ate like a teenage football player tonight. F!!! The Peeper, a psychologist, theorizes that I've been eating my feelings lately. Don't know how to cope with them so I've been swallowing them. Along with tons of high fat content. No bueno.

Built the outfit around my new Marni-inspired top.





Bought it on sale at Target for 12 dolla.










Love how the print reads one part tribal

Paired the top with the white pants today for a summery but still office appropriate feel.
