The SceneTook my car in to be serviced this morning. So my mom graciously picked me up from The Office. As a thank you, Mr. D and I treated her (and her Crocs!!!) to dinner.
Decided on Aroma Bakery Cafe. We've been loving their desserts for months but never tried a full meal. Dummies. Every single bite tonight was absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS.
Started with the hummus. They serve it with FILET MIGNON. Um, brilliant.
I ordered the Ahi Tuna Kabab plate. PERFECTION!
My mom got the salmon salad. TASTY!
And Mr. D got the French Onion soup. Delicious yet light!
Mr. D still had room for desserty. Shocking for someone who tolerates eating.
But my mom and I just got tea. And relived how great our entrees were. And planned our next meal there. Not shocking for pigs who live to eat.
Ended the night with The Boy in Striped Pajamas. Two words: Oy vey. We sure know how to bring a fun, light night to a screeching halt.
